Let’s party! After Jennifer and Jeremiah’s beautiful ceremony the guests went back to Jennifer’s parents’ house for a casual afternoon reception. The celebration was less about pageantry and more about just sharing and celebrating J & J’s love.

Jennifer’s grandparents owned a gorgeous house high on a hill in the Crow Point neighborhood of Hingham.  Although the house has since been sold, the current owners let us use the hill and dock for formal photos.  Although it was hot…quite hot…the weather and amazing location were a winning combination.

And now for some alone time with the bride and groom….

The speeches by the Best Man and Maid of Honor ended up being one of the most touching moments of the entire day.  There was laughter….

there were tears….

and lots and lots of hugs…

Many many congrats again to Jennifer and Jeremiah as they continue their lives together….if this photo below is any indication of things to come, Jeremiah better be careful! :)

Much love to the bride and groom, I’m so thankful to have been a part of their wonderful day.

Maine Winter Abstracts

January 20, 2010

It’s been snowing for a few days straight up in Coastal Maine and today I decided to finally take advantage of my beautiful surroundings and get out and shoot.  I had some fun and kept things out of focus while playing with  handheld panning and zooming in and out with the lens open.  The results are pretty funky, and I enjoyed experimenting.  Hope you’re all staying warm!
