I recently returned from a great weekend visiting family in Pittsburgh.  My family means so much to me and I’m so thankful that I was able to spend time getting to know my youngest cousins.  Maeve, almost 5, and Gage, almost 2, are smart and funny little ones, and I had a blast chasing after them with my camera.  I’m looking forward to shooting more children this spring – there is so much wonder in the face of a child and it’s a pleasure to try and capture it.

The focus is a wee bit off in this portrait of Gage, but I like the resulting soft focus.  It’s hard to get it just right when trying to wrangle with 2-year-old energy!

Speaking of energy, look at Maeve go!
